ECI fetes personnel for years of service

Recognizing the unparalleled dedication and invaluable service of its personnel, Easter College awards employees who
reached significant milestones during its 114th Founding Anniversary at La Playa Resort, Bacnotan, La Union.

Ten awardees across different departments celebrated milestone awards together with the other employees. They were
awarded based on their length of service, particularly those who served the institution in 5, 10, 15, 25 and 30.

Cleofe Kollin, who is currently the principal of the elementary department has reached thirty years in service. She has
been serving the institution since 1990.

Moreover, Vicenta Linggon, an accounts officer from allied services was also conferred for her 25 years of stay and Joel
Ballongan, bookstore staff and Rodessa Lynn Canillas, faculty of Department of Nursing for 15 years.

Marites Balmaceda and Anabelle Bengdaen, both faculties of Senior High School Department, Anderson Catalino, head
maintenance, Miscelle Challoy, administrative aide, John Michael Jarata, the dean of Department of Nursing and Milford
Umayat, a faculty of the aforementioned department were also commended for their ten years of service.

Also, Kathy Dulay, Student Affairs Coordinator, Wendle Mayao, finance officer, Joseph Refuerzo, faculty of Department
of Nursing and Maribeth Tiongan, treasury officer were awarded for their five years of service.

“Easter College has been my second home. It has allowed me to grow personally and professionally,” Dulay states.

President Braille Van Reyes, in his speech emphasized that in every journey, there is growth. He furthered by saying that
in being part of organizations, there will always be conflicts. With this, he encouraged everyone not to regret meeting
people and its environs.

“Good people give happiness. The “bad” ones, we should thank them because they give us experience. And with these
experience, we pick up lessons,” he says.
