STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENTS

1.0 Background
Samsung had built steam plant at Ma’aden Aluminium and plant is running for more than 3yrs now.
As a part of warranty; Samsung is planning to do some repair works at Absorber Unit 1/2/3 & 4 of boiler package.
This repair work shall be executed during planned shutdown work.

2.0 Brief Description of Work

2.1.1 To Supply and erect tower scaffolding for the following area:
a. Absorber #1 ~ 4m (L) x 4m (W) x 24m (H)
b. Absorber #2 ~ 4m (L) x 4m (W) x 24m (H)
c. Absorber #3 ~ 4m (L) x 4m (W) x 24m (H)
d. Absorber #4 ~ 4m (L) x 4m (W) x 24m (H)
e. Scaffold safety access
f. Scaffold barricade

2.1.2 Dismantle tower scaffolding after completion of repair by Samsung.

3.0 Location of Work

Ma’aden Steam Plant, Ma’aden Aluminium Complex Ras Al-Khair, KSA

4.0 Commencement & Completion

5.0 Detailed Scope of Work

The following are the services are to be provided:
• GENERAL
5.1 Supply of highly competent personnel required for the work including prequalification activities.
5.2 Sub-contractor to Provide Food, Accommodation & Transportation.
5.3 Supply of personal protective equipment (PPE, tools, and consumables as per Ma’aden Safety Standards)
5.4 To provide good lighting and air ventilation for a confined space work.
5.5 To provide safe access/ temporary working platform (Internal & External Scaffold)
5.6 Housekeeping and disposal of scrap/waste materials to Owner’s designated area.
5.7 Preparation of Work Procedure and scaffold design.
5.8 Submit related documents of their personnel to Samsung for gate pass applications.
5.9 Submit Safety Plan (Working at Heights, Confined space, etc...)
5.10 Submit manpower plan

Plant.
