ABSTRACT

This study aims determine the Advantages and Disadvantages of Each Learning

Mode to the Grade 12 Senior High School Students of La Consolacion College of

Rinconada, Iriga campus. In addition to this, the study will respond to the following

inquiries: 1.) What is the general profile of the students in terms of sex, age, chosen

learning modality and academic ratings? 2.) What are the basic factors that affect the flow

of learning on each learning mode? 3. What are the different advantages and disadvantages

of each learning mode? 4. What are the methods used by the respondents to effectively

utilize these learning modalities? The course of this study started on February 5, 2021, the

gathered data was collected from grade 12 senior high school students.

The gathering of data and finding were done on online survey questionnaires as

an observation to strict guidelines and policies against Covid-19. In addition, the statistical

instrument used in computation, analyzation and tallying of the gathered data will be done

through the use of weighted mean, Kendall’s Co-efficient of Concordance and percentage

mean.

Meanwhile, after the gathering and interpretation of the given data, the study found

out that there are certain factors that affect the flow of learning while utilizing these

learning modalities such as the internet speed, the retention and absorption of the lessons on

a particular subject.

Also, this study also discovered that the learning style and personal preference of the

respondents were not suitable to their selected learning mode.
