Intervention To whom it may concern,

I am writing this reference letter on behalf of Miss Marianne Ference,
who completed her Intervention Specialist student teaching with me on
ㅡ December 11, 2020. My class is a cross-categorical resource room serving
students with a variety of disabilities in a Kindergarten-2nd grade
Normandy School building. Students served include those experiencing symptoms of ASD,

expected professional basics such as punctuality and consistent follow-
through, but in addition I witnessed positive reflection on students'
disabilities and on her own interactions with them. Due to a school
exposure Marianne was quarantined and faced uncertain timelines which
may have made others distraught She faced it with humor and
equanimity.

Marianne understands development and can appreciate when students

experience growth or challenges. She is seen laughing and smiling with
students, being fully emotionally present for her learners.

During this tumultuous time, Marianne’s grasp of technology was key to

reaching the students in my room. She Zoomed with students, using two
cameras and multiple digital resources. She also met masked face-to-face
with my most needy students who were served in-building as it was
determined that video conferencing would be ineffective.

Marianne receives my highest recommendation!
