Phase A Low Voltage Events
Phase A Low Voltage Events
This events checks the per phase voltage for values that fall below a specified limit.
The threshold is defined as a percentage of the expected per phase nominal voltage and
recommended to be in the range of 60% to 99.9%.
The event is logged if ‘A’ phase voltage falls below the preset threshold and this
condition persists for a duration more than the predefined persistence time.
the highest per phase voltage must be greater than the minimum voltage threshold.
(Va or Vb or Vc) > minimum voltage threshold
the ratio of the lowest per phase voltage to the highest (low/high) must be less than
the imbalance threshold.
lowest _ per _ phase _ voltage
< imbalance threshold
highest _ per _ phase _ voltage
The minimum voltage threshold is defined as a percentage of the nominal voltage and the
imbalance threshold is a fraction (0-1).
The event is logged if the above two conditions exist and this condition persists for a
duration more than the predefined persistence time.
Current Imbalance Events
This events checks for an imbalance between phase currents. To qualify as a failure, both
of the following conditions must exist:
the highest per phase current must be greater than the minimum current threshold.
(Ia or Ib or Ic) > minimum current threshold
the ratio of the lowest per phase current to the highest (low/high) must be less than
the imbalance threshold.
lowest _ per _ phase _ current
< imbalance threshold
highest _ per _ phase _ current
The minimum current threshold is defined as a percentage of the maximum current and
the imbalance threshold is a fraction (0-1)
The event is logged if the above two conditions exist and this condition persists for a
duration more than the predefined persistence time.
The occurrence and restoration of all the above events are logged with date and time
stamp. The snap shot of the per phase voltage , per phase current and per phase pf at the
time of event occurrence and restoration are logged.
A maximum of 255 events are logged in the meter memory on FIFO basis.
The nominal values and the thresholds are given in the Program Data in MIM Reporting.
