Summary/Abstract
This study was to find out our knowledge gathering skills about any business. It was requested by
our course instructor ………..on 5th February, 2021.

The main findings were that, gathering knowledge about how wasa works, services and components
of this organization.

The recommendation is that a person must gather all information by sitting at home and maintain all
the safety measures, due to this pandemic situation.

1. INTRODUCTION:
Background

This report has been written to Improve our knowledge about service skill. In our program(BATHM)
it is a must to have a developed skills in order to serve peoples. But many of us are weak in this. So
it was like a training how we could improve ourselves.

This was requested by our course instructor Dewan Md. Nur Yazdani sir, and it was requested on 5 Th
February,2021

Objectives
The main objective of this report to find out an effective way to gain knowledge and also learn about
a service organization. By this work that our course instructor gave us we can easily improve our
learning skill.

As Our main target was to gather knowledge .So, we studied and talked with one of the workers
over phone(WASA). The research was very beneficial. Though there was some difficulties but we
have done it with a smiley face.

2. Methodolgy:
In this study we collected information about WASA.

Some sample question are given below:

 When WASA was eastablished ?


 What does WASA means?
 What are the feature WASA is giving? Etc.

3.FINDINGS:
In general, the findings indicate that the results that we got our survey. We communicate with the
employees of WASA and gathered information from them.

The major finding of the investigation was that, we have got the experience how to deal with
different type of people.

Surprisingly, the employees told that all that question that we have asked them made them think
that why we waste calling, while we can find the answer in the Google, which was the unexpected
consequence of this investigation.

5. CONCLUSION:
The main conclusion that can be drawn is therefore that we need much more practice to make us
more productive.But concentrating on the other points it is a great achievement.

In the light of this,it is recommended that students must concentrate on some specific topic to
improve their learning skills and also should maintain behavior code.

In the light of these conclusion, we recommend that we must concentrate on specific topic to
improve their skills and also behavior. It is also highly recommended that student must get help from
others if they need so

Appendix 5 : Dhaka WASA
Taqsem A. KTaqsem A. Khan is the ManagingDirector of Dhaka WASA.Dhaka WASA was established
on 1963 as an independent organization.In 1990, Narayangonj city also came under the purview of
Dhaka WASA.

Vision of Dhaka WASA :To be the best water utility in the public sector of Asia-Environment
friendly, Sustainable and Pro people Water Management System.

Mission of Dhaka WASA :

Appendix 6 :Chittagong WASA
Engr. A.K.M. Fazlullah Managing Director,Chattogram WASA. It also established on 1963.it currently
only provides water services to the residents of Chattogram. There were no piped sewerage systems
in Chattogram.Drainage services are currently provided by the Chattogram City Corporation (CCC).
At 07 Nov 2018, a sewerage project is approved in ECNEC meeting with a cost of 3808 crore BDT.

P. Eng. Md. Abdullah is the Managing Director, Khulna WASA.It was established in 2008 . Khulna
WASA committed to ensure service to all customers through the supply of a sufficient amount of
potable water and proper sewerage solutions.

Vision of Khulna WASA :

To be the Pioneer agency in the water supply and sewerage sector in Bangladesh ensuring safe and
sustainable water supply. sewerage management for Khulna City according to the satisfaction of its'
consumers.

Mission of Khulna WASA :

To constantly seek ways to provide better service for our consumers. Reduce dependency from
Ground Water. Improve efficiency and reduce the operating cost as well as maintain Non Revenue
Water. Satisfactory level by ensuring the implementation of the projects effectively and timely.

Achievement of Khulna WASA :

 Covered service area – 45.60sq km.


 Present population – 1.50 Million.
 Served population – Around 0.70 Million.
 Number of Hand Tube wells- 10,000 Nos.

Sultan Abdul Hamid is the managing director of Rajshahi WASA.It stands on the river Padma.It was
established in 1996.

Finding Result and Discussion
Ensuring Safety of water by WASA .This projects are creating significant role on social
economic value. Local people are getting benefited. Though the villagers are not getting
benefited, the people who are leaving in city areas are getting much benefit. As WASA is
developing their materials and getting more established the local people who live in the city
are getting more benefits and day by day these benefits are increasing. That day is not far
when the villagers will also be introduced with WASA.
