Ld2 (distance of dashpot from pivot)
Discussion:-
this simple model is useful not only for academic purposes, but also as the basic
engineering building block for the analysis and understanding of a large class of
vibrating systems. Even in the analysis of complex physical systems, the total
behavior can be thought of as a linear combination of mass-spring-dashpot systems,
each system being known as a vibration mode.
The plotter diagram of free damped vibratory system validates that the around half
of amplitudes decreased. The reverse amplitude is just little below of mean line
implies that the damping system is under damped vibratory system , it is clearly
seen that there is a reduction in the value of frequency of the free damped
vibratory system . It clearly shows that the vibration amplitude decreased by
means of damper. while increasing Ld distance of dashpot clearly shows increasing in
Damping coefficient (c) .
