Task 8. Translate the Croatian text on. p 63 into English (2 points)

Bluetooth, technology named after danish king Harold Bluetooth, is short-range radio
technology developed by Ericsson and other companies.Bluetooth allows data transmission
between mobile phones, computers and other devices at short distances. Its basic features are
robustness ,significant cost efficiency and economical energy consumption.
Bluetooth devices operate in frequency band from 2.4 GHz up to 2.4835 GHz, ie. in ,so called,
industrial, scientific and medical, ISM band.Since the ISM band is open for everyone, radio
systems that operate in this frequency band must be designed in the way they can successfully
deal with problems of interferention and fading. This problems are solved using a frequency
hopping spread spectrum.
