Dear Mr. Rudebusch:

I am writing to you in regards to the senior project that I have begun. I have chosen to job to shadow
with Brad Rudebusch who owns Rudebusch Repair. He had worked at John Deere for 15 years.

I chose Diesel tech as my topic because I have always wanted to be a technician and it's a high job
demand, I have always been interested in it since I was very young. There are no days that are identical
in the shop, and I am excited to learn as much as I can about each diagnosis of each equipment. My
only concern about the shadowing experience is having to miss school to travel to Watertown because I
don’t particularly like missing practice. So far, I have four hours of shadowing done and I plan to have
twenty hours completed by the end of November. Once practice is over then I can get more hours in.

Through this project I hope to gain some skill and learn some tricks to help me with college. I hope this
will furthermore deepen my interest in this field of work. I will do my best to exceed your expectations
of my project.
