It is with great pleasure that I recommend Ms. Kristina Reuter for a school counseling
position within your organization. I had the opportunity to supervise Ms. Reuter while
she completed her school counseling internship at Manheim Middle School during the
Fall semester of the 2020-2021 school year where she worked with students in grades
sixth and eighth.

Ms. Reuter’s duties included the following: providing direct counseling services to
students, collaborating with staff to coordinate student interventions, contacting parents
regarding student educational and behavioral concerns, and documenting student
information. In addition, Ms. Reuter conducted several needs assessments for each of the
grade levels she worked with and organized supports for students based on these
assessments. Ms. Reuter also helped tremendously with our school-wide positive
behavior support program especially in the areas of data collection.

Ms. Reuter is an exceptional counselor who has established relationships with staff and
the students she services on a daily basis. She also demonstrates respect, concern, and
exhibits fairness and patience with all the students she comes in contact with. During her
internship at Manheim Central, I found Ms. Reuter to be professional and effective in her
interactions with students, parents, and staff. She was very responsible, reliable, and
motivated. She was easy to work with and was eager to take on new tasks.

Ms. Reuter has all of the necessary skills and abilities to be a highly effective school
counselor. I would strongly recommend her for any counseling position in your
organization. In my judgement, she has the ability to successfully work with today’s
students and families and would be a great asset to any school organization. Please feel
