1. Target Market
When we talk about gifts, it includes an extensive range of customers with different age
groups who love to buy gifts on different occasions and are always there to surprise their loved
ones. Thus our target market isn’t restricted to any single market segment as it will include all
male and females belonging to any age group.
Los Angeles is a country in Southern California with around 3.99 million people having
23.1% people under 18 and 76.9% percent above 18 years which is basically our main
population within Los Angeles. For every 100 females above 18 there are 97.6 males which
shows that there is great target market for us in Los Angeles.
The largest target group of Unique Gifts at Your Door Step will be above 18, young and
adults who are more involved in surprises and gifts. Likewise we will target children and senior
citizens as well, to fulfil their needs.
The target market will include working people, housewives, students, celebrities, tourists
and all other people of any age groups living in 30KM of S Atlantic Blvd, Los Angeles.
Our starting target location is S Atlantic Blvd, Los Angeles which includes both
residential as well as commercial area where our business will be more successful while
fulfilling needs of both target’s needs.
The target market will be segmented based on quality and Price preferences. Focus will
be working and non-working upper and middle class although we will be targeting lower-middle
class communities as well.

There are number of card and gift stores in California as trend of sharing feeling through
gifts to loved ones is increasing day by day and so is the spending of consumers on special and
customized gifts. Industrial revolution has changed lives of people and now they want comfort in
their lives by placing orders and getting things at their homes.
Along with purchasing gifts for birthdays and parties trend has shifted towards holidays
as well. As per MarketResearch.Com in 2013 holiday celebrants spent around $730 on items
including gifts with overall sales of $602 billion annual and mother’s day revenue was of around
$19.9 billion. Around 6.5 billion in US purchase gift cards each year contributing to $7 to $8
billion revenue. The growth in business led to revenue increased to $20 billion in 2014.
The gifts business is no more limited to women as it has now expanded to both male and
female. The number of gifts shops are also increasing day by day with certain different ideas thus
filling all the industrial gaps. As per IBISWorld analysts there are almost more than 61,279
thousand businesses related to gift shops in USA which are generating a revenue of $18 billion
annually. There are above 50 gift shops in Los Angeles but there is only one gift store in S
Atlantic Blvd which is Final Choice, which is already developed and well-known businesses
providing variety of gifts limited to physical shop within this area which shows the need of an
