Copyright registration in India grants its proprietor sole rights to distribute, replicate, reproduce
the work or give authorization to another entity for the same. By law, copyright is the legal right
entitled to creators of literary, dramatics, music, and artistic work and producers of films and
recordings. When a proprietor registers for a Copyright, it gives him an exclusive right to
reproduce, replicate, and distribute the work. Further, he can grant authority to some other entity
for the same purpose. Register for copyright because it makes you communicate to the public,
reproduce rights, and adapt & translate the works.

b. In case of an objection filed:
While we listed above the scenarios of ‘no objections’, in case one is faced with an objection, the
following proceedings take place:
Authorities send out letters to the two concerned parties, to clarify the objection
After requisite replies from the third party, the registrar conducts a hearing
Depending on whether the registrar accepts the reply, the procedure takes shape

The application being accepted means that the objection has been rejected. The application goes
