PLAN OF INVESTIGATION

For my English School Based Assement I will be focusing on the theme Crime. My topic
is ‘The Effect Sexual Assault has on Teenagers’. I chose the topic because some of teenagers in
my community has been victim of sexual assault. I have seen persons change because of this
crime and the effect it has on my community.
With completing this assignment, I hope to improve my vocabulary and understand the
technique of English Language which would help me in the future when sitting my examination.
To complete this S.B.A I will collect and analyze information from the Jamaica Gleaner ‘Dealing
with sexual abuse’ written by Dr. Vendryes, a YouTube video by UNICEF ‘What recovery looks
like for a sexual abuse survivor in Jamaica’ and a poem by Louise ‘No way out from sexual
abuse’.
