heretofore made. I give devise and beqac;ith unto my dearly beloved wife Christian
Hamilton, John Foide of the city of Dubrtn, James Forde of the town of Duudalk
Esq., and to the survivor and survivors of them, and to the heirs of such survivor,
all my real and person"! what nature and kind soever which I shall die
csti\i;e of
possessed of or entitled unto, to hold unto them my said trustees upon the special
trusts and confidence hereinafter mentioned and none other. I order and appoint
that my said trustees shall as soon r.fter my death as can be done conveniently and
with prudence and advantage to my wife and children sell and convert into ready
money all my real estate with such part of my chattels as my wife may not have
occasion for, and that the moneys arising from the sale thereof after paying all my
just debts and most moderate funeral expenses shall be by my said trustees lent out
at legal interest on the best security or securetys that can be had for the same aad
that interest thereof shall yearly and every year be paid to my wife during her life
for her support and the support of such of my cliildrc.i as may not be in a way of
supporting themselves at the discretion ot my said wife a^d with a full pcwer to my
said wife to dispose of the principal or any part thereof auring her life or by her
will among my children as she shall think their wants or ^n^rits may require,
reposing th" firmest confidence in her goodness sence and prudence as she has ever
been to mc the best of wives and to our children the bestt)-fmothers. In witness
