WHEN TECHNOLOGY AND HUMANITY CROSS

I. Based on the report, answer the following questions:

1. How does science and technology affect contemporary life and vice-versa?

➢ Science and technology have an effect on modern life by presenting us with complex
problems that have enabled us to protect and exercise human rights for all in our pursuit
of happiness. When we consider current issues in science and technology, we must
remember that the construction of a just and progressive society necessitates a
continuous practice of the good.

2. How do we protect our human rights in the face of technological advancements and
ethical dilemmas?

➢ In the face of technical change and ethical dilemmas, we defend our human rights by
upholding the rights of others. When we are given the ability to make decisions for our
own well-being, we become more free. When we are able to value and apply the
concepts of logic and science in our daily lives, we become more logical.

3. Do you believe that Google makes people stupid? Cite at least three examples to support
your assertion.

➢ No, I don’t believe that Google makes people stupid, but I do believe that Google makes
people think there stupid. For example, when people want to know about how to take
care of their selves, first thing they do was try to find answers to the Google instead of
understanding and appreciating their self. Secondly, when people try to Google about
the causes of global warming, everyone knows the reason behind the massive changes
in our climate but why do some still ask how global warming started? Lastly, when
people try to find routines on how to live a healthy and happy lifestyle on Google, we
all know what we should do to be healthy, to have a happy lifestyle, so why do we still
find answer to Google? In general, people ask questions that their already know the
answer to the Google. Depending on our decisions and choices in life to the Google
makes us stupid.
