1. When is the appropriate time to invest, Is it today or after pandemic? Why not?

Yes, given the chance, it is definitely appropriate to invest during pandemic. Simply because, during a
recession, there could be opportunities to buy at a lower cost. You may be able to buy stocks at a lower
price around this time as investors withdraw their money from stock markets, particularly if historical
patterns indicate that a certain company is good. And according to Michael Arone, a State Street Global
Advisors' chief investment strategist, one of the aspects that the pandemic has highlighted more than
anything else is that the stock market is a forward-looking mechanism.

Working from home allows you to devote more time to spend in learning investment. You can either
enroll in an online investing course or, if you've always wanted to invest in cryptocurrencies, now is a
great time to do so. Some might say that cryptocurrency is a risky investment, but the statistics tell a
different tale. Based on the BP1 PHILAM research, although Bitcoin is widely regarded as being highly
volatile, it appears to be more robust than most of us believe, with just a 5% price drop this year.

And there is never a bad time to invest in your future. 2020 is likely to be remembered as one of the
worst years in recent history. All of the recent negative events may have left you concerned about 2021
and beyond. However, as experts always say, good investing takes time, and the sooner you start, the
more time you'll have to make your money work for you. Take, for example, health insurance: getting
covered when you're young and safe is clearly preferable than waiting it out. In addition, aside from
market timing, the type of investment you make is also important.

2. Is it right to impose another lockdown with the new covid strain that was identified?

No. We cannot deny the fact that as we celebrated the so called ‘lockdown anniversary’ last March 16,
Philippines is now known of having one of world’s longest lockdowns. Speaking of which, 2 weeks ago
the NCR+ bubble was placed again in Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) due to sudden surge of
COVID-19 cases and now according to Malacañang through its spokesperson Harry Roque, NCR+ plus
bubble will be placed to a more relaxed MECQ status from April 12-30, 2021. Clearly, its shows that it
has been already a year and imposing lockdown whether it is ECQ, MECQ, GCQ or any CQ do not make
sense at all if the administration is failing to handle this worsening situation of Covid-19 pandemic.

Even with the new covid strain that was identified, not all Filipinos can afford to be in a lockdown again.
Not all are privilege enough to stay at the comfort of their homes and not worry if there will be food for
them later at the dinner or tomorrow and the day after. Try to assess the situation, even if now there is
already a vaccine and lockdown imposed, Covid-19 cases continues to rise everyday same with the
number of fatalities. All I’m trying to say is that, imposing lockdown now is not the solution to reduce
the Covid-19 cases, strengthening the Covid-19 contact tracing force, support on research and
development, mass testing and mass covid 19 vaccination is.

3. Should member of IATF be dissolve because of the new strain scalation affecting our daily routine?

Yes. It is undeniable that IATF or Inter-Agency Task Force does not have adequate plans to control and
prevent the COVID-19 spread because of the rapid resurgence of the virus in the country. According to
Sen. Maria Imelda Josefa “Imee” Marcos, public health experts should lead the fight against Covid-19,
with a use of "real science-based strategy” which I strongly agree not only because of failed COVID-19
response but also their decision-making structure for pandemic is disjointed. This occurs because they
are not fully knowledgeable about the virus since they are not medical practitioners who are capable of
identifying, regulating and controlling the disease.

IATF’s way of handling the pandemic demonstrated a high level of negligence, earning them an
unsatisfactory rating from the citizens. The specific handling of COVID-19 is seemed lost. The number of
cases we have on a regular basis should be declining but the cases are just resurging. With these reasons
alone, it is just appropriate to abolish the IATF.
