Q1. Every case has a problem, issue, or opportunity to be identified. What is it for this case and
who needs to make it?
A1- The new Administration has implemented a reasoning for why we are over budget so the issue
here is that they are facing the problem of overbudgeting. And Sam Donaldson, the super laundry
supervisor needs to deal with this issue.

Q2. What qualitative (non-number: political, ethical, organizational culture or any topic other
than accounting as examples) analysis need to be done?

A2- Since we know now the main question or issue, we face certain other factors that affect the
company's overall work and processes. This is a perfect example in this analysis as we can conclude that the
company works more than people want to remain because of extreme cold weathers. We must take note of
the difference in the number of customers using the service during the winter months.

Secondly, we also need to consider the decrease in economic conditions and the manner in which market
tendencies are fluctuating, as demand for services provided by the company may decrease which forces
management to survive the increased market costs. Given the current Covid-19 situation, we can see that
these types of services have the greatest impact.

Therefore, because of the environmental and economic factors, economic factors can affect the usage,
increase process volumes and also affect the variance of costs.

Q.3 What quantitative analysis needs to be done (what numbers need to be calculated)?

Q4. What other data would have been helpful for this case?

Q5. Role-playing as the decision-maker in the case, what do you decide to do and why?
