The Four Maharajas

In the east gate, there is the Maharaja Dhritarashtra, the great guardian king of the world,
Being clear white in colour, playing upon a vina that accomplishes pacifying magical actions.
OM DHRITARASHTAYA SVAHA!

In the south gate, there is the Maharaja Virudhaka, the great guardian king of the world,
Being dark azure in colour, brandishing a sword that accomplishes fierce magical actions.
OM VAIRUDHAKAYA SVAHA!

In the west gate, there is the Maharaja Virupaksha, the great guardian king of the world,
Being clear red in colour, binding others with a snake noose and bringing the three worlds
under his power.
OM VIRUPAKSHAYA SVAHA!

In the north gate, there is the Maharaja Vaishravana, the great guardian king of the world,
Being golden in colour, lifting a mace which realizes enriching magical actions.
