6. Unfold the head section using the lifting lugs bolted at the head.

7. Remove the oil breather plug from the geared motors.

8. Assemblethe axle, if not assembled: Slide the axle riggers (1) into the axle center
member (2). Assemble the top link (3) to the axle center member (2), adjust until the axle
riggers (1) are slightly above horizontal (when the conveyor weight is transmitted to the
axle it should become horizontal).

9. Lift the conveyor as shown in Lifting the conveyor and release the transport straps holding
the trestles under the conveyor.
