‘P’ are we learning in reading
TTW pick two books in the Google Slides presentation called “Judge a book”
TSW make a prediction on their paper for the book and why they think that.
TCW listen/watch the story to see if their prediction was correct.
Repeat this process with the second book.

3. Word Study

TTW use slides “How to make chocolate
milk”. Read and TSW share to put steps in
the right order.
TTW point out transition words, TSW find
other transition words in the steps. TTW
highlight transition words in the text.
TSW add transition words to the sentences
for “I can get ready for bed”. TCW make a

TTW introduce clocks by display the school clock and
highlighting its various parts

- Paper plate clocks and make the time to the hour given by
the teacher. Use 3 blue connecting cubes to represent the
hour hand and 4 red connecting cubes to represent the
minute hand. Use virtual manipulative clock as students
show times on their clocks.
