that I had the privilege to get to know during his 4 years at River Ridge High School,
where I worked as an assistant principal. From an early age, Travis showed a passion
for helping others and always exhibited great character. Travis is, in my opinion, a truly
gifted educator. When speaking with his supervising teachers as well as colleagues it
is clear that he quickly develops a good rapport with his students, establishes solid
routines, and employs consistent and fair practices in his classroom.

Travis took an active interest in the well-being of each of his pupils. Close contact with
his collaborating teacher was undertaken in a very thorough and meaningful way. His
pupils responded well to his engaging approach to education and genuine interest in
them. Under Travis's guidance and encouragement, his pupils consistently realized
measurable gains.

Travis has a delightful sense of humor and contributed much to the teaching program,
both professionally and socially. As a student-athlete, he always put the student
attribute first. His grades were remarkable and mirrored his performance on the field.

It has been my pleasure to have known Travis. He is a hardworking, well-organized,

committed person who has given much to his students and his school. He enjoys the
respect of his pupils, their parents, his fellow teachers, and the school administration.
