Philosophy of Discipline

For some students, my classroom may be the only

safe haven they find all day. My classroom is an inviting
space that is positive for all students. My classroom
management will shift the focus in the room from
controlling and correcting to learning and staying on-task.
My classroom will promote productivity and efficiency. My
goal is to maximize classroom time for student learning by
eliminating time wasted in confusion or disruption. I will
provide clear guidelines and procedures, so my students
and I will know what we need to do, when, and how we
need to do it.
