NPC Sire List
his document gives a list of Fifth Generation NPCs that Sixth Generation PCs may
use as Sires. The biographies for these NPCs may be found in their respective Clan
guides. Characters entering play as a member of the Sixth Generation, must select
one of these Sires. Characters who diablerize to that generation in play do not.
Some of the NPCs list suggestions or requirements. There is no hard and fast rule for how you
integrate most of these; that is between you and your approval chain. It is suggested to lean in
and use them to shape the story.
Please note that, the purpose of this is to facilitate your story by giving you something to
attach your background to. Generally speaking, your choice of Sire is a cosmetic one. It’s
your story. Though it is possible that they might reach out to you as the shared chronicle
evolves, there is no guarantee of future interactions with your sire.
The Prestigious Sire merit can fit virtually any of these Methuselahs. Taking this merit is as
much about them and the acknowledgement that you follow in their footsteps. Some are well
suited for the merit. These are called out. Some are not suited at all. These are also called out.
Where this document is created for 6th Generation PCs, it is possible that other players want an
NPC Sire too. For you, rather than writing up an entry for every NPC, simply find the NPC on the
official timeline. You can be embraced after the time band in which they were embraced (e.g. if
someone was embraced between 100 BCE and 0 CE, then you can be embraced after 0 CE).
Next, find their entry in the appropriate faction or clan guide and make sure that your concept is
in some way related to the existing NPC.
To make your connection with an NPC sire, just fill out this form. A staff member will get back to
you when they are able. So long as you didn’t go crazy, you’re good to go.
