Melira Lister, Logistic Manager for ALE’s Australia Branch, has been
nominated for the Queensland Trucking Association’s “Trucking
Woman of the Year Award”.
The prestigious QTA Ltd Industry Awards are presented annually in the
region. They celebrate achievements within the transport industry and
the commitment of those involved. The ‘Trucking Woman of the Year’
award aims to recognise women who are making a significant
contribution to the industry.

Melira is an active supporter of forums and events and has been

responsible for the achievement of many ‘firsts’ in Australia that have
contributed to greater efficiency in heavylifting and transportation. Most
recently, Melira has helped ALE to bring their freestanding tower
cranes to Australia for the first time, to be used in the installation of a
large-scale project.
Melira shared, “I am excited to be a part of the ingenuity that seeks to
push the limit on current logistical envelopes. I am also determined to
make my mark in the industry and set a strong example of what
perseverance, passion and strength can achieve to give other women
the confidence to step up and drive the industry forward.”
