No. 8.2015 MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR To : ALL HEADS OF CONSTITUTIONAL BODIES; DEPARTMENTS, BUREAUS AND AGENCIES OF THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT; LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNITS (LGUs); GOVERNMENT-OWNED AND CONTROLLED CORPORATIONS WITH ORIGINAL CHARTERS (GOCCs); AND STATE UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES (SUCs) SUBJECT : Public Sector HR Symposium and PSTD National Convention The Civil Service Commission (CSC) in partnership with the Philippine Society for Training and Development (PSTD) and the Government of Australia through the Philippines Australia Human Resource and Organisational Development Facility (PAHRODF) are jointly organizing the Public Sector HR Symposium and PSTD National Convention with the theme “Transformations through Leadership Development.” About 1,800 HROD and workplace learning and performance professionals from both the public and private sectors will be attending this event on May 27 to 29, 2015 at the Waterfront Hotel in Lahug, Cebu City The event highlights the significant role of leaders in inspiring the transformation of other individuals which, collectively, result in organizational and societal transformations that could create dramatic impact. Leaders, Human Resource Management Officers (HRMOs) and other executives and practitioners from both the public and private sectors whose functions are directly related to human resource management and development are encouraged to participate in the event. Registration fee for government employees is Seven Thousand Pesos (P7,000.00) per participant inclusive of training kits, snacks and lunch during the Symposium, and Certificate of Participation for sixteen (16) hours managerial training. Accommodation is not included in the registration fee. Participants are encouraged to register on-line at csc.gov.ph/hr on or before May 8, 2015. All payments shall be made directly to CSC-Central Office through CSC Training Fund under Account Number 3122-1001-37 whether cash, check, bank deposit, or ADA-LDDAP.
