General Information Section Component Identification
The top of the tester has the following features.
1.. RJ45 Port - connects a personal computer
(PC) for updating the internal software.
2.. Test Lead Port - connects the battery
clamp test lead.
3. Infrared Lights - outputs signals to an
infrared printer for printing test results.
4.. Red and Black Jacks - connects an
optional amp probe for using the multimeter
function.

MORE FUNCTIONS
In Vehicle (In Machine): tests a 6-Volt,
12-Volt, or 24-Volt system that is installed in a
machine. This test determines the battery’s
condition and then continues with a test of the
machine’s starting/charging system. The test
results include the battery condition, the
condition of the charging system, starting
system, and diodes. For additional
instructions, refer to the In-Vehicle Battery and
Electrical System Test section in this manual.

Out-of-Vehicle (Out-of-Machine): tests a Replacement Parts
6-Volt or 12-Volt battery that is not installed in a
machine. This test determines the battery’s
condition and displays the results (good, bad, Part Part Number
