The plow share is similar to the rudder on a boat when the

from the left of the beam, the plow will tend to over cut and

adjusting the tracking.

6. Check that the plow standard is vertical.

Plowing
NOTE: Plow should be pre-adjusted before beginning.
Plow must be kept smooth and polished so that dirt
will slide off the moldboard without sticking. The plow
will polish itself, especially in sandy soils. The paint
A applied during manufacturing will wear off after several
passes in the field.
During normal plowing, the right machine wheels will

1. Adjust the coulter blade to the highest position.
2. Adjust the tractor throttle lever to the full throttle position.
3. Lower the plow with the hydraulic lift lever to the float
position.
4. Begin plowing in the middle of one edge of the area to
be plowed. Fix eyes on a tree or some distant object in line
with the middle of the plow to guide the machine and plow
in a straight line.

OPERATING
NOTE: Always lift the plow before turning. NOTE: When extreme or heavy plowing conditions are
encountered, it may be desirable to reduce plow cut
width rather than plow depth, in order to reduce
machine loading.
• If the plow is not plowing at a width of 28-30 cm
I (11-12 in.), loosen the U-bolts and move the beam along
the mast to the left to increase width and to the right to
decrease width.
8. Plow to F, lift the plow, turn and plow from G to H.
NOTE: After plowing a few rounds, stop to check all
connections on the plow, gage wheel, coulter blade
and frame. Tighten any loose connections.
9. Continue to plow the entire area in a clockwise direction,
lifting the plow at the end of each furrow before turning.
10.Plow the ends of the field, J to K and L to M.
11.Lubricate the coulter blade and gage wheel fittings at
least once daily with a standard type grease gun using a
