To do this exercise you should only take into account when making a graph function of time this will be on
the X axis, while the other variable is Y (for this case is the permeability coefficient) to make it better is
needed that you do it with semilogarithmic paper.
it would take 100 times more time since its permeability coefficient is 100 times smaller approximately it
would be 1000000000 seconds that it takes to pass the phosphorylated glucose (against the 10000000
seconds it takes to lter the glucose without phosphorylating)

The part b of the exercise cannot be solved if don´t have a data for (Cin), however I put the equation so you
can solve it without any problem

Q: Consider the ore-loading system shown in the gure below. Let W_1 be the constant mass ow rate of ore onto the
barge, and let M be the mass of ore on the barge at any time. After the pile has reached a mass M_0, ore is lost over the
side at mass ow rate W_2. The loss rate is roughly proportional to the amount of ore in excess of M_0 at any time. Draw
a control volume for the...

the time scale for molecules to empty out of a "spherical bacterium" of radius 1 mu m due to the permeability of the
membrane to various molecular species. In particular, use the relation j = -P Delta c between the ux of molecules j across
the membrane and its...
