discuss about rethinking assessment. As what I’ve understand rethinking

assessment, It gives an opportunity to think creatively about assessing student

knowledge and understanding. She also discussed about things to remember during

rethinking assessment it Emphasize learning, not grading, Give students multiple

opportunities to show what they have learned, Eliminate zeros, Be up front with

students about how learning will be assessed and Build student confidence. There

are also some activities like Asking some questions relating to the topic, Group

activities, Guessing game, Completing a puzzle and sharing of life experiences

about some things relating to the topic

Reflection Paper of Formative Assessment

Last meeting we discuss about formative Assessment, It refers to a wide

variety of methods the teachers use conduct in-process evaluations of student


comprehension, learning needs, and academic progress during a lesson, unit, or

course. Formative assessments help teachers identify concepts that students are

struggling to understand, skills they are having difficulty acquiring, or learning

standards they have not yet achieved so that adjustments can be made to lessons,

instructional techniques, and academic support. is an ongoing process that mirrors

integral aspects of the artistic process itself: Students are given criteria that

describe high-quality performances, provided with feedback, and encouraged to

revise their work. Through this process, students take their creations as evolve,

and develop abilities to independently work and think like artist. Ultimately, this

creates greater student motivation.
