l.) Briefly explain the meaning of the term ‘Information Technology?

Is a generic term that covers the acquisition, processing, storage and dissemination of
information. It involves the application of computers and communication technology in the task
of information handling, information and information flow from the generation to the utilization
level.

2.) Describe the Role of Information Technology in Different Disciplines.

Information Technology Specialist Discipline to Consider- as technology evolves and
becomes more ingrained into daily operation for businesses of all kinds, information technology

Cybersecurity-with significant hacks and data leaks entering the arena of public
conversation, IT professionals who are experts in cybersecurity are increasingly sought-after.As
businesses collect more and more information about their customer base, there is a higher risk
of that information being compromised.
