2/18 This week we focused on the completion of
an English assignment. Lorita and I focused
on accuracy and cohesivity of the message
she was writing. Lorita then showed me
several assignments that she needs to get
done for the following week such as a
Spanish assignment.
2/25 This week we worked on a history paper
based on previous discussion in class. We
focused on making accurate and concise
statements to get the desired message across
the paper.
3/11 This week we worked on an English
assignment about an upcoming book for the
class. We focused on an assignment to
provide Lorita with some more background
knowledge about the upcoming book. I also
proofread a paragraph for an assignment for
English.
3/25 Lorita has all A’s wooohooo
Today we talked about an assortment of
things:
- life beyond high school maybe
looking into translating at hospitals
or maybe going to cosmotology
school until there is a better
understanding of what she wants to
do
- we talked about ways to process
emotion
4/8 we did not have much time this day, because check in with journaling
she needed to finish an exam, however we
spent the time we had journaling

Next steps/
Goals for next time
For next time, we need to
set goals for next
trimester. I will also be
checking in that she turned
in her English assignment.
I will check in with Lorita
to make sure the History
paper was turned in. I will
also check in to help her
make a to-do list before
the end of the trimester.
Lorita’s goal for the
trimester is to get ahead of
homework. She also wants
to make sure she is not
leaving homework to the
last minute.
Next time I will guide
Lorita with how to journal
and make it successful for
her.

- current grades (all but 2 are at or classes with non
above C) failing grades
- no missing assignments - have fewer
- no work he could do to boost his missing
Math and English grades assignment
- needs to retake algebra 1 and history - be better about
next trimester due dates
- we talked about goals for next
trimester

3/1 This week we focused on several missing
assignments from math and science. We
were able to grind out several assignments
for math and then created a to-do list for the
rest of the missing assignments.
I will check in with Juan
to make sure the missing
assignment got turned in.

3/15 This week we focused on organization skills,
specifically, organizing the documents
within his google drive. I suggested that he
create a folder for each of his classes to
place any documents or presentations. This
could help with finding records easier. I also
suggested that Juan get a planner to keep
track of homework and see what he can do
to get ahead of homework.
I will check in with Juan
to see if the planner or
folders for classes helped
him anyway. I also need to
reach out to his teachers
because Juan has not been
eating lunch recently.
