Hello! My name is Ms. Dillingham, and I am elated to be your child’s student
teacher with Mrs. Shaw for the next couple of months! I am currently a Senior at Regent University with a major in Interdisciplinary Studies and a focus of Pre-K through 6th Grade. A little about myself, I have aspired to become an elementary teacher since I was in elementary school, and coming from a family of educators, it has definitely been a legacy I have always wanted to continue to uphold! I will also be continuing my studies by beginning a new semester in graduate school for a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration upon obtaining my Bachelor’s Degree this May. Unrelated to my role as a student teacher, I am a big fan of sports, primarily basketball (Go Duke!) and football (Go NY Giants!). My favorite activities include teaching (of course!), cooking, shopping, and volunteering. I am excited to incorporate a multitude of fun and learning-filled activities that align with all that I have been taught in my education courses, both online and in- person for when the students return! I hope during my time as a student teacher, I will have an opportunity to meet you and speak with you. If you have any questions or concerns during my tenure here, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I have provided my VBPCS email address, or of course you can contact Mrs. Shaw for any matters pertaining to the class. Email: asdill21@vbschools.com Sincerely, Ms. Ashlee Dillingham
