Personal Teaching Philosophy

I believe the key to effective classroom management is respect in all aspects. With my

dedication to implementing an efficient and effective management system within my classroom,

it is my hope that the philosophies I intend to establish and uphold will assist me throughout my

educational career.

I can anticipate that my plan for classroom management may alter for every school year,

as I will have no group of students that learn, think, and behave in the same manner as previous

or future students. Setting boundaries and developing trust between the educator and student are

strategic ideals I did not witness very often as a student during my years in elementary school,

therefore I will strive to create teamwork-based relationships between myself and each child that

I will be spending their educational journey with to promote positive work ethic, self-confidence,

appreciation, and cooperativeness in the learning environment.

As a summative goal that aligns with my philosophies, I aspire to create a classroom of

enjoyment and creativity that also balances with attaining learning goals and structure. For

example, I will strive to create an environment that promotes learning engagement to

developmentally appropriate instruction as well as an environment that fosters individual

creativity to help my students reach their own unique potentials. This concept will coincide with

the instilled learning content and classroom structure so that each of my students’ goals will be
attainable for them. Within this learning environment, I wholly aspire to create a classroom that

serves as the foundation in which students can create their own legacies.
