1. What do you think is the core problem of the case presented?

The core problem in the case that has been presented is the neurological
disorder of a child. We all know that the brain is one of the largest and most
complex organs in the human body. It is made up of more than 100
billion nerves that communicate in trillions of connections called synapses. The
brain is made up of many specialized areas that work together
 Neurological function plays an important role in our life especially in learning
because it targets mainly the brain. Brain is the most complex organs in human
that needs to be protected because it is the command center that brings all the
ideas and information. In the case presented it is very obvious that the core
problem starts when his mother has many complications during his birth which
leads to neurological problems. It is the core or the main problem why the he
has many problems during his learning stage especially in reading. The boy
missed a lot of days in school because instead of learning like a normal child he
became sickly and asthmatic. His mother doesn’t really have enough knowledge
about the importance immunization to children’s health. Neurological problems
existed because the birth is uneventful. It is the lesson for parents on how to be
healthy and cautious when they are pregnant because it can affects the future of
young children.

2. Does the environment factor affect the reading disorder of the child?

One factor that affects the reading of the child is the environmental factor (Home
environment) because of their situation that this child always got sick. The focus
of the parents is on the health of the child they forgot to stimulate their child’s
love for reading. And in attending the school he got more absents than present in
his attendance due to his health problem.

3. What evidence/s can you find in the case presented on how the child acquire
the reading disorders?

The first evidence in the case presented is that during his 39 th week his
mother had edema , headaches and high blood pressure that cases him to
distress and suctioned. Those are the symptoms that lead to neurological
disorder in which it affects his reading ability
His mother did not complete proper immunization which results to children
in malnutrition and sick.
 The first evidence in the case presented on how a child acquires reading disorder
is during his birth there are many complications happened to her mother and him.
During his 39th week his mother had edema, headaches, and high blood pressure
which cause him to be distress and suctioned. Those scenarios will lead to some
health problem especially to his brain that causes him a reading dis order during
school. The second one is he also had severe asthma, some bouts of otitis
media, seasonal mold allergies, and occasional headaches which can also be
the reason. Lastly, his mother did not apply proper immunization which results to
children in malnutrition and being sickly.
