My objective is to make you

understand why you should learn more .

Mihai Eminescu’s said,, A distinctive future of a good school is to make the student learn more than he
is taught , even more than the teacher himself knows’’

I 100% agree with this quote and I will tell you why in thee next minutes. First of all, let's speak about
schools and our education system. I saw a lot of complaints from people about the knowledge we get
from schools. Their arguments are something like: Well if I will work as an indoor designer or as a cashier
at a Bank why do I need to learn Biology, Chemistry, History, etc. First of all, you don’t necessarily know
what the future has planned that’s why you get to learn a bit of everything, then you will get a better
picture of what you can do in the future.

Second of all, schools educate people, it makes them harder to be manipulated and gives the ability to
filter the information you get . Let's give you another example. There people who are ready to do
anything to prove that the coronavirus was made in a laboratory .This peoples have 0 knowledge in
Biology , they don’t understand what is a virus , what it is made from and that at its actual stage
humanity doesn’t have the tools to produce viruses so because of these lack of knowledge they are
easy to manipulate. That’s why if in a good school you learn more than the usual , and the more you
learn the safer you will be from fake information .You will start to understand how things actually work.
Knowledge is power.

Lets speak about the human brain . The brain is one of the largest and most complex organs in the
human body. It is made up of more than 100 billion nerves that communicate in trillions of connections
called synapses.To learn is essentially to form sets of those connections. Your brain is always learning,
whether you are studying mathematics or history. That’s why you need to learn more and always . To
keep your brain in shape . If you only learn what the curriculum thinks you need to known and refuse to
gain more knowledge then your brain wont fully develop witch meens that millions of cells wont make
conections with each other making you more liable to brain diseases like Alzheimer , Dementia ,
Parkinson etc. Imagine that your brain is a person and knowledge is food . If that person only eats
enough food to keep him alive he won’t be able to do physical work because of how week his body is .
This is the same with the brain. If the schools only teach you just to pass a test then your brain will be
undeveloped and the amount of possibilities becomes insignificant .

Another argument could be that our world is a big place with hundreads of millions of students just like
you . What makes you better than them , no , not your personality , Universities don’t care about this .
What makes you better than them is the amount of knowledge you already got from your local school
and your capability to assimilate and filter information. When you don’t have the motivation to learn
just remember that there is an Asian kid ready to steal you University place if you want to learn abroad
of course.
Lets speak about teachers too , they are guides that help you walk the road of knowledge . They don’t
need to impose you to stoll with them . They are here just to teach you how to walk this road. The
choose to keep walking depends on you.

Concluzie

In conclusion I hope that you understand why schools should teach you more than the basic knowledge
everyone should have.
