trade-off (or tradeoff) is a situational decision that involves diminishing or losing

one quality, quantity, or property of a set or design in return for gains in other
aspects. In simple terms, a tradeoff is where one thing increases, and another
must decrease.

Three important tradeoffs that I face in life are:

1. Money Vs time: If I want more money, then it requires more time. The
more you hard work and dedicate your time, the more income you can
generate because in today's life, in order to maintain standard of living and
lifestyle, one cannot survive with less money.
2. Job Vs Family: Sometimes due to urgency in work, I have to do
overtime at office. This takes away my quality family time as evening is the
only time when we sit together, talk about whole day and dine together.
3. Savings Vs expenses: In order to do savings for future, I have to curtail
personal expenses and sometimes defer expenses for future. To achieve
savings, a line of control is required to be maintained and to keep in mind
every time.

Cash Vs time: If I need more cash, at that point it requires additional time. The more you difficult work
and devote your time, the more money you can produce in the present life. In this way, making more
money guarantee a save and shielded future for you because to keep up the way of life and standard
of living one can't pull through with less cash.

2. Profession Vs Family: Sometimes because of criticalness in work, I need to do work for the additional
time at office. Working in office till late at night removes my quality family time as evening is the
possibly time when we sit together, talk about entire day and eat together. But again to gain something
precious (like glamorous life style for your family) you have to lose something priceless ( having good
time with your family).
3. Savings Vs fun: If I want to save money for future I have to know where I am
spending it now. If in near future when I want just to tap on an app and a
car comes then now I have to stop making trips, watching movie, playing
games and cards and all other my extra personal expenses. Thus to have
savings, a line of control is needed to be kept up on your expenditures and to remember without fail.

Grades vs Fun: If you’re taking engineering, and you want to score good GPA
you will have to prepare your lessons, good Math, and read your books
thoroughly. But if you don’t stop making trips, watching movie, playing
games and cards and having fun with your friends then your superb GPA
dream just remains a dream. So if you want to earn respect for yourself as
well as for your family then now you have to keep your funs limited.
