Finish your first verse and chorus!

You should have done this yesterday, but take time to finish
now if you need it. The verse should be at least four lines and the chorus should be AT LEAST
two.

Go to hooktheory.com/trends. Use the tool we used in class yesterday to generate a chord

progression for your song. There must be at least four and no more than six chords in your
progression. You may choose to play one chord for every line, one chord for every two lines, or
any variations on that pattern you feel are comfortable in your song. Label each line of lyrics
with what chords you will play.

What you will turn in will look like this:

FOR SECOND BLOCK:

G
When I’m going fast on my board
Em
Not worried about my test score
C
I violently bang on my drums
D
I listen to bums
G
They hum with their thumbs.

FOR FOURTH BLOCK:

G
Everything feels like an endless void
Em
Chilling with the wild life, man I love dear
C
Slave to society, feel like a droid
G
Man I wish my hamster Lloyd was here

D
I’m hungry now, because my human is gone
Em
I’m hot, he didn’t leave the AC on
