● Supports Pro Choice. I am against Pro Choice since it involves the choice of killing an

innocent life. Also a fetus feels pain during an abortion. Abortion can casue

psychological damage.

● Supports reducing defense spending: I am against this because it reduces the military's

budget for weapons and equipment. Military spending can achieve peace by having

power which could lead to allies or other countries stepping down from violence.

● Supports $15 minimum wage. I am against this because a minimum wage increase could

put companies out of business. It could also force teenagers out of the workforce and

could increase poverty.

● Does not support the Keystone XL Pipeline. I am for the Keystone Pipeline project since

it will employ more workers in construction to complete the project and because it will

strengthen America's energy supply by having a Pipeline running from Canada.

● Does not support Obamacare. I as well do not support Obamacare since it raised federal

income taxes, being taxed for not having the insurance, prices for drugs have continued to

rise and out of pocket expenses have been rising.

● Does not support NAFTA. I do not support NAFTA as well because it brought Mexican

trucks into the United States which may not sound like a bad idea but those trucks are not

held to the same safety standards in the United States. As well as bring in unsafe work

environments for workers and would destroy farms in the United States and in Mexico.
● Does support banning neonicotinoid pesticides. I agree with banning that chemical

because it can impair memory, movement, and death in bees. Since bee’s are critical for

crop production their population needs to be protected.

● Does support a halting investments in fossil fuels. I disagree with this because until green

energy can become more reliable then we should not stop investing in nonrenewable

energy and try to invest more in renewable energy. Stopping the investment in fossil fuels

can bring all functions of the world to a halt and bring any nonrenewable resource

investments to an end can be detrimental.

● Believes that logging wood for electricity is neither clean or green. This I agree with

because destroying a forest population can lower the population of wildlife. As well as

causing the soil to be dry and makes land at a greater risk of fire.

● Believes water should be tested for radioactivity and heavy metals. I agree with this since

not treating water properly can cause serious injury or death among people or a

community. It may save money but can be detrimental to people.

● Believes the rich should pay 55%-60% taxes. I disagree with this because it is

unconstitutional stated in article 1 section 9, “No Capitation, or other direct, Tax shall be

laid, unless in Proportion to the Census or enumeration herein before directed to be

taken.”

● Believes in cutting the military 50% and putting $500 billion into the economy. I disagree

with this because if the military loses more of its budget we can lose protection and allies.
