To hold the cushions in place in caseof failure of the "VELCRO" strip attachment, during flights with the sliding
door open and without a passengeron the rear bench-seat.

C - DESCRIPTION
Addition of a strap on the rear of the brackrest, which passesthrough a loop on the seatcushion, and attaches
below the bench seat by an eye-end.
Widening of the "VELCRO" strips on the rear bench-seats.
Effect on interchangeability : Not affected
Effect on electrical balance : Not affected

2. - ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS

A - PRELIMINARY STEPS
- Removethe four backrest and seatcushionsfrom the rear bench-seat.
- Removethe two panelsthat form the bench.

B - PROCEDURE

1 Modification of the RH and LH panels

- Removeand scrapthe fabric equipped with "velcro" strips
- Position RH and LH fabric sections
- Rework if necessary
- Bond the fabric to the RH and LH panelswith adhesive
- Mark and position the 8 fasteners 0
- Drill 16 3.3-rnmOholes
- Attach the fastenerswith 16 rivets 0
- Install the RH and LH panelson the rear bench.

2 - Modification of the backrestcushions

- Position the 4 straps on the four backrest cushionsand sew them in placewith nylon thread (1)

3 Modification of the seatcushions

- Cut 4 120-mm loops from strip
- Fold the loops over at either end, position them on the four seatcushionsand sewthemin placewith nylon
thread
- Install the four backrest and seatcushionson the rear bench seat
- Passthe four strapson the backrestcushionsthrough fhe four loops on the seatcushions,and securethem
to the four fastenerson the panels.
