Hello Parents of Mrs. Holmes’ First grade!

My name is Kaitlyn Groff and I am a student at Kutztown University. This year I am

in my Professional Semester which means I get the chance to shadow a teacher and learn
what works and what doesn’t. This means that I will be watching and learning how to
teach. I am in Mrs. Holmes’ First Grade until October 23rd! I have done extensive
observations in multiple classrooms throughout my time at Kutztown I also have worked
in a few daycares interacting with and caring for children. I am eager to work with your
kids and get the chance to learn from them and teach them occasionally! I’ll occasionally
be teaching some small lessons to your children and sometimes you’ll hear my voice on a
Seesaw activity! I look forward to learning and teaching these next two months. In my
free time I like to take my two Golden Retrievers on walks and I love reading and
spending time with my family!.
