First, it is important to define the goals. The state standards will often serve as the base for the goal.
The goal must be specific, measurable and result oriented. Then, design the principle of engagement,
we need to consider the learner variability, anticipate gaps and barriers that could distract learners. It is
necessarily to determine the scaffolds that are needed. We must choose flexible assessments that
provide meaningful information and assess individual student growth. Find out what assessment
accommodations are listed in students’ IEP or 504 plans and provide these during instruction. Select
different teaching methods for the lessons, such h as direct instruction, mental modeling, Q&A,
discussion, cooperative learning, etc. Methods, materials, and media that offer flexibility and relevance
and balance assistance with challenge. Lastly, reflecting on your students' outcomes and how they
interact with the goal, supports, and strategies. Doing this ensures that his students have meaningful
opportunities to practice new content. The teacher will be able to embed any necessary scaffolds
almost invisibly, and he has the daily data he needs to adjust his instruction before students start falling
behind.
