THE NEED OF THE HOUR-PROTECTION OF HUMAN SENTIMENTS

AND SDG’S IN INDIA

ABSTRACT

The concern for human rights protection has received a status of fundamental law of the land
in India. The Indian constitution provides the basic human rights of every individual in the
form of fundamental rights. We have constitutional provisions and other statutory provisions
for protection of these basic rights which follows the approach of sustainable development.
Still many of these basic rights are abused by many individuals due to lack of accountability
by the government, vigilante violence aimed at religion, gender, race etc. and caste-religion
related violence

The research work is based on the data collected by the secondary sources such as Books,
Articles, Journals and Newspapers the collected has been analysed through suitable
techniques at different places.

This paper deals with various aspects of Human Rights Protection Laws in India, their role
with respect to Sustainable Development Goals and the role of the Indian Judiciary in
protecting these rights from vigilantes, anti-state forces and other depreciating aspects of
human nature.
