A COUNTRY I WANT TO VISIT

JAPAN
Japan is one of the countries that I want to visit. The red circle on the Japanese flag
illustrates that the sun is round. Japan has 126.440.000 populations. Japan has several
languages, that is Japanese which is the national language, Ryukyu language used in
Okinawa in the Ryukyu Islands, the Ainu language used by the Ainu tribe which is an
indigenous tribe in Japan precisely on the island of Hokkaido. Japan is a country whose
population works in the industrial and service sector.

Japan has several traditional costume, the first is Kimono which is recognized by everyone
in the international arena. Kimono is now only used in certain occasions such as weddings,
tea ceremonies, traditional traditional events, and funeral rites. The second is yukata, The
difference between a yukata and a kimono is that a yukata is made of thin cotton that easily
absorbs sweat. Actually, yukata, from the name itself means 'bathing suit', is used as a
temporary body cover after bathing. That is also the reason why yukata are mostly worn in
onsen areas. The third is Hakama. This traditional attire was adopted from trousers of
imperial Chinese costumes in ancient times. Hakama is basically a pair of pants that are tied
on top of a kimono, and has 7 wrinkles so that it is considered to represent samurai with their
7 bushido principles. Commonly used in traditional performances such as Noh, Kabuki, and
kendo martial arts clothing and graduation ceremonies. The fourth is Jinbei. This shirt is a
pair of yukata (women) worn during the fireworks festival in the summer. Actually this shirt is
usually worn by men as a nightgown. However, because of its increasing popularity, this
outfit began to be worn outside the bedroom. The last is Furisode which literally means
'swinging arm' is a formal version of kimono. Usually worn by women who are not married,
this outfit is usually worn in maturity ceremonies. Although furisode was initially used by men
as well, the longer the furisode was increasingly devoted only to women.
Japan also has special food and drinks, among them ramen is typical japanese
noodles, sushi, sake, and matcha.

This country has interesting place for tourist, among them are Imperial Tokyo, Tokyo
Tower, Historic Kyoto, Historic Nara, Osaka castle, Nagoya Castle, and Meguro
River. In Meguro River we can see cherry blossoms.
The difference between Japan and Indonesia is very visible, especially from its
culture. In Indonesia there are many cultures that we can, while in Japan it is not. But
Japan also has its own characteristics. I want to visit Japan because of Japan even
though the culture is small but in my opinion quite interesting. I want to see cherry
blossoms directly from Japan.
