General notes
1. Models of same range share the same exploded views, which report the richest set of spare parts:generally, a model does not necessarly have a
related spare part for each particular shown on exploded views.
2. Some spare parts can not be represented directly on the exploded views (instruction booklets, specific kit, etc...). You can find those codes in the
spare parts list with the same reference of particular where spares are installed or with references 099, 999. Instruction booklets, once managed,
appear with 000 reference.
3. On the higher right site of each exploded view there is a serial number which indicates the beginning of the production of certain range:some
models might have more than an exploded view for a given category, each distinguished by a different serial no.and linked to another spare parts
list, In this case, serial no. is required to supply the right spare part code. Exploded view to be considered is the one with a more recent serial no.
but previous than the one of the model that needs assistance.
4.Exploded views might require further updates even after publishing. Addition of new spares will go on following the already existing numeration
references. Revision number of an exploded view is shown into last four digits of serial number into upper right hand corner.
5.The spare parts list associated to an exploded view shows related codes of spares managed for a certain model; for each spare part other
informations are available:
REF: reference no of spare into a table; SUBSTITUTE: list of spare(s) which can replace a code but that keeps same functional characteristics
INDUSTRIAL CODE: list of variables of a model (shown into model label) where such spare is used; NOTICE: code of information(s) to refer to
complete technical intervention, track for changes or to find correct spare part code.
6. Some notices, into a same section are generic therefore cannot be directly linked to a spare part. In order to assist a model in the best way as
possible, it is helpful to pay attention to all notices and constantly verify documentation updates
7.Technical documentation cover shows model name and its commercial codes

Notices
n1040005
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Beginning in the month of February '99, a new motor (part no. 059561) with a driven pulley with a diameter of 41.5 mm instead of 36 mm will be
used for the 450 and 500 rpm washing machine models in order to eliminate the risk of the appliance going out of balance.
Said modification also entails the use of a new belt, the J4 1265 mm (part no. 059560).
The new parts are interchangeable with the pre-modification ones only if used as a complete assembly.
The motor with part no. 055047 must not be used any longer.
This notice holds for all models that use the motor with part no. 055047.
n1040013
New Indesit logo
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Beginning with serial no. 90301.0001, a new logo (as shown in the figure) will be printed or silk-screened on the control panels and the manuals for
the Indesit washing machines and washer-dryers.
The new parts will be handled with the same SAT numbers as the pre-modification parts (which will be eliminated).

n1040014
Shock-absorber modification
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Starting from serial number 90315.0001 a new shock-absorber is used in machines with plastic tank. The shock-absorber is fixed with a 10 mm X
32 mm cylindrical-head rivet, instead of the M10 flanged self-breaking nut with code 030680 and the M10 X 45 mm hexagonal-head screw.
With reference to Technical Assistance, the pre-modification part will be managed until stocks last. After that, the new shock-absorber assembly
with rivet and shock-absorber support with code 055040 will be managed with the same SAT code 055039.
n1040016
New counterweight
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Starting from serial number 90301.0001, a heavier counterweight with code 063246 and a new tank cover with code 063244 are used in the 400-
450 rev. washing machines with plastic tank.
The new counterweight (14,5 Kg instead of 13,8 kg) and the new tank cover (with number 400 printed on the outside) can be used on pre-
modification 400-450 rev. machines, but not vice versa. For easier management the counterweight with code 054767 will be coloured in red, once
stocks are finished.
n1040045
Dispenser lid and counterweights
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Beginning with serial no. 90825.0001, on 600 rpm Washing machines manufactured at the Teverola factory, the following parts have been used:
The counterweights part nos. 054768 and 063246, if used together, can be used instead of the pre-modification ones (in order: 056440 and
054767) which will only continue to be handled until stocks run out.
The dispenser lid part no. 056949 can be used instead of the previous one (part no. 056442) and 063244 used on other models from which it is
different, in that it has two thermostat holes instead of just the one.
If the model being repaired only requires the use of one thermostat, the hole for the second one should be closed with the plug (part no. 020181)
provided in the kit.

Modification of the expander shaft.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Beginning with serial no. 91115.0001, in order to improve the fixing of the shock absorber onto the tub, the diameter of the end part of the
expander's shaft was increased by 0.2 mm on the Washing machines with plastic tubs manufactured at the Teverola factory.
The new part is handled with the same SAT code 055037 as the pre-modification one and can be used, applying a drop of Super Attac adhesive on
the end part of the shaft which is to be inserted into the expander upon blocking it.
n1040058
Various modifications (Plastic tub without safety thermostat hole, new supply cable and radio interference
suppresser complete with terminal board).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Beginning with serial no. 00110.0001, a few modifications have been made to washing machines manufactured at the Teverola factory. These
modifications mainly affected the cabinet (on which the perforation of the terminal board was modified) and the tub (from which the hole and the
safety thermostat were removed) and a new heating element with fuse was used.
The new parts, except for the worktop, cannot be used on their own on pre-modification appliances because the cabinet has to have the supply
cable moulded together as well as the radio interference suppresser and the quick connection condenser, whereas for the tub it is absolutely
necessary to use the heating element with fuse.
However, to carry out this intervention, the wiring needs to be modified in the following way:
1) Discard the wire leading from the safety thermostat to the heating element.
2) Disconnect the wire that leads from the wiring to the safety thermostat and insert it onto the contact of the new heating element on which the
fuse is placed (it can be recognised by the green insulating sheath on 230 V models and the blue one on 240 Volt models).
The pre-modification parts shall continue to be handled until stocks run out.
The following table has been attached in order to make it simpler to identify the parts necessary for the use of a new cabinet or of a new tub on pre-
modification appliances.
n1040059
Kit of bearings plus sealing ring for appliances with a plastic tub.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The kit of bearings plus sealing ring part no. 066691 (cod. 090554 Kit 600-800 and cod. 090555 Kit 800-1000) has been coded to apply the
page 14
bearings onto appliances with a plastic tub, thus avoiding having to necessarily replace the tub as well as the lid, due to possible deformations
caused by hot wash cycles that make the coupling of the two parts impossible.
Once the bearings have been extracted, take particular care in making sure that the housing of the bearings does not constitute a deformed
surface, in which case the tub and lid should both be replaced.
To ensure that the sealing ring is perfectly watertight, it is essential that you use around 7 gr. of Amblig TA grease which must be distributed evenly
among the surfaces of the bearings that are in contact with the sealing ring and in the central hole of the ring itself.

ELBI Standardised Timer on 400-600 rpm appliances from Teverola
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Beginning with serial no. 00420.0001, the new ELBI standardised timers have been used on 400-600 rpm Washing machines manufactured at the
Teverola factory (both with plastic and stainless steel tub), (00714.0001 - WG522TXU- 46180660100) , with the exception of models from the
LB2000 range which were manufactured using the new timer from the very beginning.
In connection with the use of this new timer, condensers complete with fixing brackets have been used and a hole was pierced into the cabinets for
the hardware key as well as suitable cutting for the condenser fixing bracket housing.
The part nos. for the parts used for the modification, excluding the wiring assemblies (they appear in the documentation of the respective models)
are the following:
The timer SAT must be used in place of the following timers, making sure that
during the connection the wiring harness connectors are not rotated at 180 degrees.
page 15
The connectors must be inserted in respect to their correspondence to the letters noted on the lower right side of the timer, without respecting the
terminals.
Condensers:
Pressure switches
Cabinets:
Part no. 066276 - White cabinet 27 two holes electrovalve for ranges A-AF-BAMR-HL-IW-LRE-W-WG-WH-WN-;
The timer 065975, if used instead of the pre-modification one requires without exception the replacement of the wiring assembly, therefore the pre-
modification timers (part no. 049196, part no. 049378 and part no. 053719) will continue to be handled normally.
The new condensers are not interchangeable with the pre-modification ones (part no. 019740, part no. 013582 and part no. 036121), therefore
both those with and those without fixing bracket are handled.
The modified cabinets will keep the same part number as the pre-modification ones.
All the wiring assemblies will only be handled upon request and therefore warehouse stocks are not planned.

Timer ELBI 0748 green label specifically for the SAT.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The timer code 065975 that is forwarded as a spare part, is used exclusively for After Sales Service.
This particular item is handled in place of the five timers used in production, and differs not only aesthetically but also in function as it combines all
the operations.
Please be aware of the following, in the employment of the timer Code 065975 - Timer Elbi 0748 Green Label for SAT :
1) Do not rotate the wiring harness connectors at 180° during the connection;
2) The connectors must be inserted in respect to their correspondence to the letters noted on the lower right side of the timer, without respecting
the terminals.
3) The SAT timer is mounted without any modification performed on apparatus that employ a timer without a distribution lever.

Kit of Small Steel Sleeves for spring eyelets on plastic tubs.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If on the apparatus' with plastic tubs with registration number previous to 81001.0001, the wearing of the spring eyelet shows (caused by an
anomalous rubbing of the spring on the plastic), a Kit of small steel bushes been realized (Diameter 10 mm X Length 10 mm) Code 081216.
The two small sleeves that are part of the kit have to be inserted in interference to the spring eyelets (see Letter A in following figure)when signs
that these have being used are visible. The solution is effective even if the ring is completely cut.

Modification of counterweight fixing on front plastic tubs.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From the registration no. 10320.0001, the front counterweight fixing system has been modified, on Washing machines with plastic tubs produced in
the Teverola factory plant, that now is achieved via the use of three self-tapping screws code 081630.
The modified tubs retain the same SAT pre-modification code and will be handled until stock depletion and are equipped with the respective fixing
screws;
Front counterweight.
The modified front counterweight code 081633 may be used in place of the pre-modification counterweight code 054768 but not vice versa, the pre-
modification counterweight will continue to be handled until stock depletion.
Each time in a modified tub it is necessary to unscrew the self-tapping screws that stop the front counterweight , effecting again the fixing and
avoiding a possible loosening in time of the tub and consequently its break , it has to be used screws code 014342, conical washers code 055018,
plain washers code 034336 and plates code 055038.

Electrovalve drill hole plug for Teverola production cabinets.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From the registration no. 10601.0001 on all Washing machines produced in the Teverola plant have been using cabinets with two electrovalve drill
holes.
If the model produced provides for one only electrovalve, then one drill hole is capped by using the appropriate plug code 083796.
The cabinets handled by After Sales Service with two electrovalve drill holes where used on models with one only electrovalve should use the plug.
n1040235
Restored the fixing of the anterior counterweight with platelets inserted in the tub
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From the 11105.0001 registration number on the washing machines with plastic tubs produced in the Teverola factory, the fixing of the anterior
counterweight is restored with platelets inserted in the tub instead of those realised with self-threading screws, the system described in Notice
N1040184.
The tubs maintain the same SAT code and are provided with the following particulars:
Whenever the necessity may arise on a tub, proceed with diverting the self-threading screws that block the anterior counterweight., as it's
compulsory to execute the fixing again avoiding in time a possible loosening and thus the breaking of the tub by utilising the registered screws
(cod. 014342), the conical washers (cod. 055018), the plain washers (cod. 034336) and the platelets (cod. 055038).

---Correct installation of the belt:
In order to install the belt properly, it must be positioned at the centre of the drum pulley or towards the exterior of the machine (at least 3 mm from
the inner edge of the pulley). This is to prevent the belt from slipping off the pulley.
This procedure must be followed because the plastic parts (tank and tank cover) undergo distortion during the heating phase of the cycle, which
inclines the top part of the pulley 3 mm away from the cover of the tank.
During cycles using hot water, the tank and cover undergo distortion, which makes it impossible for either of the parts to be used with a new
replacement part. Therefore, if either of the two is faulty, BOTH must be replaced.

During cycles using hot water, the tank and cover undergo distortion, which makes it impossible for either of the parts to be used with a new
replacement part. Therefore, if either of the two is faulty, BOTH must be replaced.
