REFLECTIVE ESSAY

This course, CE Projects 2 is one of the major course of a civil engineering student. This course is a design
project done by an aspiring civil engineer that provides understanding and applying the courses the
students have taken. This course help students analyze a problem and must provide a solution based on
engineering solutions.

As a student taking up Bachelor of Civil Engineering, this course is not an easy course. It needed a lot of
patience and hard work in order to succeed in this course. For me, this course has consumes a lot of time
because of researching, gathering data, and also studying the problem carefully. This course is design
project done by group. I believe that doing this course by group is a great idea as it provides each student
to participate and to apply one’s knowledge and skills. This will help students to share each other’s skills
and knowledge that will surely help them with their design project. As for my team, I believe that each of us
contributes a lot in order for our design project to be successful. We provide so much time doing it and
having a team like my team is a blessing because we try to cope up with our differences. We try our best to
understand the sides of the each of us.

In this course, Engr. Rhonnie C. Estores is our instructor. He always share to us his knowledge and skills in
doing a design project. During our classes, he tries his best to give us examples of design project that we
can apply to our design project. He tries to come up with simple problems so that his students can
understand him right away. Without his guidance, our design project wouldn’t be successful. Because of
that, we want to thank our instructor, Engr Estores, for never ending support and guidance that he provided
to his students.
