It is my pleasure to share a strong recommendation that you consider Emma Dugan for a
teaching position in your school. Emma has been a student teacher at our school for the fall of
2020. During a very tumultuous time for the school, due to COVID, Emma has been a hard
working, professional, and collaborative member of our faculty.

I have had the privilege of evaluating Emma Dugan in the classroom and have observed that
she is a hardworking team player who works well with students and collaborates effectively with
other educators. Her positive and enthusiastic attitude and calm demeanor work well to both
engage students and manage behaviors. She has the flexibility to differentiate and meet a
variety of student needs, a skill she utilizes effectively when meeting the unique challenges of
both in-person, and virtual learning. Her ability to build relationships with both students and their
parents, whether in person or virtually, is a strong asset. She has displayed a deep knowledge
in both teaching and applying multiple evidence-based curricular programs, such as the
Fundations Literacy, Math Expressions, Bridges Math, Fountus and Pinnell Literacy, and
Teaching Strategies Gold.

I have found Emma to be open to feedback and reflective in her response to teaching guidance.
She is incredibly dependable and committed to her profession. I have no reservations in
recommending Emma for whatever teaching position she wishes to pursue.
