INTRODUCTION:
Around of the world there are infinity languages particular and very
authentic. However many of these lenguages are spoken to few people
or only in a few countries. Languages that generally aren’t
unimportant.
English it’s the opposite, there lies the importance of learn it, because
it is of lenguages most spoken worldwide, making it an iconic
language for any personal and professional aspiration.
When you start a university career is done for several reasons.
First, because it provides a pictures larger of world that
sunrrounds us. Second because a university teach meaning of
discipline and responsibility and allow us to know and relate us
with people from many areas and fields of action, it same word
indicates it is a formative process that includes the UNIVERSALITY
of knowledge, if start a career is important our profesional life,
strive to learn a second language as English catapults our
opportunities in a more accelerated way.
The english is the second most widely used language around the
world, so today it has become a basic need for professionals.
Statistically 80% of vacancies for senior managers have English
language skills as a requirement, if you were fluent in English the
chances of being selected for a job would increase by 44%.
Nowadays, any researcher or professional who wants to be up to
date or access specialized books needs to know English to be
informed of the rapid advances that are taking place in their area
of knowledge. This is because 75% of the scientific literature is in
English; the thousands of advantages that are part of the
professional life of anyone in the world are indisputable; in
addition, it is necessary to have good communication with people
from different countries, it generates progress in the lives of
those who venture to learn, it gives personal satisfaction and
helps to see the world from different perspectives.
If job opportunities are concerned, English is the most sought
after language by employers, followed by French and German.
This language has succeeded in expanding communication,
opening doors to millions of people on the personal and
professional level, in other words English is the language of
international communication, finance, world trade, art, culture
and tourism. It is positioned as the language of many
international organizations such as the European Union, the
United Nations and UNESCO, which undoubtedly facilitates
communication with the world without any barriers.
