Norm & Karen’s NT Mission Op-Shops
Following the great response to our Missions clothing
appeal last year we wonder if anyone has anything left! Our mission
group has a work team going to the Roberts’ in August and they are happy
to take donations. The Mission Op Shops need: toys, sports equipment,
baby’s/kids’ clothes 0-5 years, all shoes/runners (not high heels) men’s
jeans, ladies’ tops & skirts (NO slacks) sports-type clothes, men’s shirts,
short or long sleeve, socks, underwear (in good nick) tracksuit tops, jackets,
coats, sheets, towels, curtains, but NO knitwear. Please see Wilma if you

A letter from Family Voice Australia:
“You may be aware that we are circulating an open letter to Prime
Minister Julia Gillard, asking her to ensure that marriage remains a
union of a man and a woman. With the Greens‟ so-called “Marriage Equality Bill”
already introduced in the Senate, there is strong pressure from the homosexual
lobby and the mainstream media for it to be passed.
We cannot compete with million dollar TV ad campaigns or popular sitcoms
showing two homosexual men with a cute adopted baby, but we can talk to the
people who really count – our federal MPs and senators. That is why this open
letter is so important.
If you have not already signed a copy of this letter, please sign a printed copy. Two
or more people living at the same address can sign the same letter. Please post
signed letters back to us at our national office (*see address at the bottom of the
letter), or scan and email to office@fava.org.au Please forward this email to your
friends, asking them to sign and return the letter too.
We want to personally present the Prime Minister with a copy of the letter plus a
list of all the signatories. We also plan to personally present every member of
federal parliament – MHRs and senators – with a copy of the letter and signatories.

show the MPs that Australians care about marriage and want to keep the one man,
one woman definition.

Baptismal Service Easter Sunday 24th April

about baptism. There will be a special session or two
on baptism as part of our member orientation process
so those considering baptism can join in. To be
baptised on Easter Sunday makes this day very special
as we remember with joy the resurrection of Jesus.
