Missions Month
Welcome Norm and Karen! This evening the church will share a fellowship tea in the hall at 6:00pm with our old friends, Norm and Karen Roberts. BYO casserole and dessert to share, followed by some stories about the ongoing challenges of the communities. Next Sunday morning Debbie Oakley will speak about overseas missions and progress with the Injibarra Kindergarten in Ethiopia. 5 Cent Coin Offering - We will round off Missions Month next Sunday with our special offering. Remember to bring along the small change that youve been saving for this purpose. Funds raised will be contributed to Norm and Karen for their faithful mission work in the Northern Territory.

Church Business Meeting Next Sunday 27th May - 3:00pm

The Church Quarterly Meeting will be held next Sunday 27th May. Please note this meeting will begin at 3:00pm. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. We will be closing the lower hall for church services during winter beginning from the first service in June. Anyone needing assistance to get into church due to limited mobility should see Doug Smith or one of the other deacons.

Michael and Christy - special prayer need

Michael and Christy Drennan were advised this week that Christy's Mum is far from well. She is suffering from a serious lung related illness which makes her breathing difficult and reduces her capacity to absorb oxygen. Additionally, fluid is gathering on her lungs. Some fluid has been removed and her oxygen levels did increase. Michael and Christy hope Mum can receive specialist treatment. Given the severity of her Mum's needs, Christy left Wednesday morning for the US to be with Mum. So, please pray for Mum, for her family and for Michael and Christy especially. Uphold Michael as he holds the fort at home and cares for the church. Michael has described this situation as the "sailing of bumpy waters."

PARENTS & Tots ROOM

Parents are welcome to use the Parents room just off the foyer, with activities for children up to 2 years, if your child is unsettled. It is soundlinked to the auditorium. The Preschooler Sunday School runs all year round during the service, with Bible stories, activities and crafts. For ages 2 years to Prep, downstairs (door just past side gate).
