What is Self-Actualization:
Self-actualization is the highest degree of psychological growth in Maslow's hierarchy of needs, where
personal capacity is realized fully once fundamental body and ego needs have been satisfied.
In our everyday lives we see people who are older and over 60 years old and who have got wealth,
respect, childhood affection and they are now in a self-actualization stage, they are happy only and they
are matured.
Physiological Needs
The basic physiological needs are those that it is the necessity of every person. These needs are vital to
our survival. These include food, water and breathing. Without these a person cannot live. In addition to
these requirements a person also needs shelter and clothing
Security and Safety Needs
As we move up to the security and safety needs a person needs money. At this level, the needs for
security and safety become primary. In their lives, people want power and order. This safety and
security requirement therefore makes a significant contribution to actions in this area. Many of the
fundamental needs for protection and safety include financial security and wellness. For instance, the
search for a career, health care and benefits, money in a savings account and moving to a more secure
environment are all exemplary acts driven by security and safety needs.
Social Needs
Social needs include affection, acceptance and affiliation. At this stage human conduct is guided by a
desire for emotional relationships. Some items that fulfill this criterion include:
Friendly ties
Romantic appeals
family
Social groups
Groups of Community
Masjid and religious groups
It is vital that people feel loved and welcomed by others in order to prevent issues such as isolation,
depression and anxiety. Personal relationships with friends, relatives, lovers and other communities,
including religious groups, sports teams, book clubs and other groups, play an important role.
Esteem Needs
The need for recognition and gratitude is at the fourth rank. When the criteria at the bottom of three
stages are met, the gratitude needs become a larger driving force. At this point, gaining recognition and
admiration of others is becoming exceedingly necessary. People need to do something and then
remember their efforts. In addition to the desire for feelings of achievement and prestige, appreciation
needs include topics like personal value and self-esteem. Professional interests, academic successes,
sporting or squad activity, and personal hobbies are all essential to the fulfillment of revered needs.
People who can fulfill the needs of confidence through positive self-esteem and the appreciation of
others appear to be optimistic. Many who lack self-esteem and regard for others may have inferiority
feelings. Together, appreciation and relational stages are what is known as hierarchical psychological
needs.
Self-Actualization
The desire for self-actualization is at the very height of Maslow's hierarchy. “He must be what an
individual can be referring to the need for humans as human beings to understand their full potential. In
accordance with the Maslow self-actualization concept, "It can be defined loosely as the complete use
and use of skills, ability, opportunities, etc. Those people seem to achieve themselves and to do as much
as possible. These are people who have grown or grow up to their full stature." Even when someone
doesn't get up to date, they will do the stuff they need and become stronger people and to be ready to
cope with psychopathology, Recognize the highest levels of expertise, continuously update oneself,
don’t worry, be frank, be mindful of your decisions most of the time.

These steps can help someone to get self-actualize, you can see that at which level do you stand at right
now and what changes you want in your life to become matured completely. These steps can help you
have a better understanding of who you are and what should be your next goals in life to be achieved to
become completely self-actualized.
